2004年設立。ブランド名のCALEEとは、CALIFORNIAの別名でもあるCALYの造語。 名前から由来するアメリカ西海岸をルーツに、自分たちが影響を受けたカルチャー、日常で触れる音楽やアート、映画などからも着想を得たプロダクトを展開。これまでに出会った人物、訪れた場所での経験から、思考や感覚、解釈が変化していく事で、表現方法のバリエーションになっている。また、日本独自で築き上げてきた物作りの技術に対しての敬意と信頼から、国内生産に基盤を置く。
